🎟️ Setup NCEBoxOffice with osConcert
Welcome! To connect the NCEBoxOffice app with your self-hosted osConcert system, follow the steps below:
📁 Step 2: Unzip into osConcert Folder
Unzip box.zip directly into the top-level folder of your osConcert installation.
This will create a new box/ directory inside your osConcert folder.
⚙️ Step 3: Configure Database Connection
Edit the file:
box/config/config.php
Enter your MySQL database credentials to match your existing osConcert configuration.
📧 Step 4: Configure Email
Edit the file:
box/config/config_email.php
Fill in your SMTP details or set flag to use PHP mail() instead. Once configured the system can send receipts and customer notifications.
🛠️ Final Install Notes
- After installing, go through all Settings pages in the NCEBoxOffice app.
- Configure at minimum the following URLs (currently identical) in the app and select the "Use your own backend" Stripe option:
- 🔑 Stripe URL:
https://yourdomain.com/topdir/box/api
- 🌐 Remote URL:
https://yourdomain.com/topdir/box/api
Replace yourdomain.com/topdir with your actual website osConcert top dir address.

The NCEBoxOffice app is available now on Apple App Store

Google Play Store. Internal testing is already underway.

🔧 Hardware
- 📱 Tablets:
🤖 Android: Any Galaxy Tablet is ideal, but also Android phone in landscape (Clunky)
🍎 iOS: Any iPad, Also acceptable on iPhone
- 💳 Stripe Card Reader:
So far only tested using the M2 Reader ($59), though others are supported in the code
- 🖨️ Printers: If you want print capability get almost any BLE POS/ESC capable 58mm Thermal printer:
